It’s Saturday!
Truly grand day yesterday (minus the fact I had only 3 hours of sleep). My eldest came home and we took the entire family out for a nicely genteel meal…. lobbyster! Yum!

A few days ago I had meant to write this but as always, life got in the way. This week saw me winning Deal of the Day (woot!) for my Amazon Prime Day cheatsheet and the events up to it and past it were… character-building? to say the least. 🙂
So let’s get with it, shall we?
Life is always better with Unix! Colleagues from the Labs of Bell, Ed Horch,Theresa Zappulla, Carl Olson and Mary Ellen Ferrara. Socializing situations certainly did evolve after we all left, aye? 🙂
And looking over the several centuries that I’ve now experienced (Leonardo DaVinci and Henry Ford were awesome, weren’t they?) , always super thrilled to have folk like Debbie Benstein and Dennis Becker and Brad Spencer and Ben Adkins in my life. Always folk ready with good words… and some of my longest friends since I returned back to IM in 2011.
And I still can’t believe I’m now networked with Marlon Sanders and Paul Myers, the guys I had been following since… the Industrial Age or so? Such brilliant marketers with superb down-home wisdom as well. Follow these people. It’s a gift you can give yourself today.
Lots of appreciation to Judy Kettenhofen and Norma Rickman and Colin Theriot and Stefan Ciancio and folks who helped me write my copy over the years…. I still can’t quite grok how the heck y’all are so tremendous in what you do!
Witnessing how Donald Wilson and Rachel Rofe, hung in there together to return after the Big Huge FB Ban… and became better than ever… is inspiring. Truly.
Colleagues like Amanda Craven and Tiffany Rae Lambert are admirable beyond belief not only for their professional skills but their parenting wisdom as well. Unbelievably strong parents they are!
And even though I do live in a happy little marketing bubble, I *do* see the crap people get for no reason other than backbiting/jealousy/pettiness, or perhaps challenging health issues, and the like. Lots of props to James Knight and Andy Brocklehurst and Alessandro Zamboni and Shawn Hansen for dealing with everything with grace and style.
Saul Maraney has been a staunch supporter of all my launches (plus has grown tremendously) as well! And speaking of launches, bunches of appreciation to all who promote them like Rich Wilens Eleanor Ruse,Tamara Patzer, Delilah Taylor, Kristie Chiles, Sue Fleckenstein, Dennis, Tiffany, Amanda and more
And I wouldn’t HAVE launches without W+ or JVzoo – many thanks toMichael Lantz and E Brian Rose for creating the superb platforms they have!
Can’t forget the Febmoms, the wonderful group in which I have participated now for over 20 years! Can y’all beleve we’ve been together that long… and our febkids are now out of highschool, possibly starting their 3rd year of college? WOW.
